Shearing is a relatively easy procedure and one should not worry about the exciting day for the alpacas . The shearer is used to handling alpacas every day and is more than competant to turn up to a farm and know what to do . He is now established in the UK coming here for 3 months of the year. A Shearer not only shears the alpacas they will also inject them for you if you like , trim toe nails and teeth,  the cost for these services might be extra however you will have to discuss this with the shearer . In order to have your alpacas shorn you will need to arrange a suitable date for the shearer to come to you .

Remember the shearer may not answer the mobile as they are probably busy shearing so do leave a voice mail and they will return yor call.
